We at Scuola Italiana understand that busy families need access to safe, affordable, and convenient child care to attend our camps and preschool. It is with that in mind that we have established a partnership with The Art Cubby to serve as our after-care provider in NW Portland. Scuola families will receive a significant discount on child care services through this new partnership.

The Art Cubby is an art-based, child care program in NW Portland that introduces children to sketching, painting, jewelry making, collage work, clay manipulation and many other creative activities. The Art Cubby is a TV and video game free zone and a creative place to spend time!

Discounted services are available to all of our school families: Discounted after-care for children enrolled in programs at our NW Portland location and daily drop-in child care services for all other school families. Children enrolled in the after-care program will be safely escorted to The Art Cubby, three blocks from our school, by school staff.

As it is with Scuola Italiana, all employees of The Art Cubby are screened and must undergo a Criminal Background check and hold current Infant/Child/Adult CPR and Basic First Aid Certifications. All staff must have qualifying educational background and experience.

For rates and additional information, please contact the school at info@scuola.us.
